I have been a cat owner for more than three decades. There is just one annoying chore that I really hate, scooping cat litter! Don’t get me wrong, I really love my cats. At the same time, I have a difficult time getting motivated to clean out their litter boxes. I hate the smell and don’t like to dispose of their waste. It has been like having a part time job taking care of the litter box. So, I decided to look on Amazon to hopefully find a solution. Here’s what I found:
Things That Make Life Easier
Have a Safe #SuperBowl Sunday with Your Friends
Many of us are eagerly awaiting this week’s Super Bowl game. You don’t even have to be a fan of either team. It is just a great time to party with your friends!
Not everyone has tickets to the big game, so my friends and I plan to watch at our local sports bar and possibly enjoy some alcoholic beverages. My tip to all who plan to have drinks at a bar or a friends house, is to PRE-PLAN everyone’s trip home so that you can have a safe Super Bowl Sunday. My group of friends and I all agree to spend the night at one friend’s home and not leave for any reason.
Tip for Saving Money on Cheese
My family and I absolutely LOVE cheese of all kinds, but it can be expensive to keep the fridge stocked. Here is a tip for saving money on cheese in the future.
When you purchase shredded cheese in a bag, the manufacturer charges you for that convenience. Also, the manufacturer puts additives in the bag to preserve the cheese and to keep it from clumping. So I have come up with an easy way to shred your cheese yourself, with little effort — whether it’s mozzarella, provolone or cheddar cheese for tacos.
Tips for How to Deal with Finicky Cats
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of loving a few finicky cats in my home. Each cat had their own unique personality. I, of course, had to adjust to meet their individual criteria. Here are a couple of frustrating issues that I had to contend with and how I solved them.
Don’t Litter Where You Eat…
My first cat, Colors, was so picky at eating her food! I soon realized that it was because I had placed her food too close to her litter box. Duh, who likes to eat their food near where they relieve themselves? I know I don’t. So I made sure that her food was in a totally different room than her litter. That immediately solved that issue.
Valentine’s Day Tip “Not Just Once A Year”
Here’s a valuable Valentine’s Day tip that you can carry with you all year long.
Many of us wait for Valentine’s Day, to express our love and gratitude to our mates. I believe that the special attention that is paid to a mate on that day should be an everyday occurrence for the life of the relationship +/or marriage.
My mate and I are fortunate enough to have actually been experiencing the added love that is generated on February 14th of every year on a daily basis, for over 19 years. From the day we met, all those years ago, we felt a connection that neither of us experienced in prior relationships. We felt mutually that we have experienced life together in a different era.
How to Enjoy a Romantic Valentine’s Day At Home
Tips for celebrating Valentine’s Day at home
Growing up, my mother always said, ” Your home should always be your oyster. ” I never understood that phrase and its full meaning until I was an adult.
Now, my home is my oyster and I take full advantage of it. In the past, me and my love would spend Valentine’s Day at a upscale restaurant or at a luxurious hotel, complete with room service. When we calculated how much money we spent over the years, we were astonished. It added up to be thousands of dollars. That money could have been better spent making home improvements or investing in our businesses.
